Another week has flown by unnoticed. It was filled with various things, but each of them was interesting! Let's take a look at the events of this week again in our Weekly Update!

PointPay events

Let's start with the PointPay events. On Wednesday, new cryptocurrencies were added to the platform: Status & MemeCoin. They marked the beginning of a new wave of cryptocurrency that will hit PointPay next week and continue even after! Over a dozen new assets are ready to appear on our platform and are just waiting for their moment.

Apart from the listings, there were no other news. But don't worry, as it's known, calm often comes before the storm. And so you can prepare, we want to remind you that next week we have Black Friday ahead. Along with this event, PointPay will have various activities and lucrative offers. More details will be shared next Monday (November 20), so be sure to check our social networks or blog on that day!

Cryptocurrency News

Together with the community, this week we monitored the developments in the prices of BTC, ETH, and altcoins. For the first time in a long while, many assets reached record price levels.

Bitcoin managed to demonstrate a value of $37,880, although the average price for the week was $36,458. By Friday, the price had decreased, but overall sentiments in the community remain positive, expecting Bitcoin to continue conquering new heights.

ETH showed a similar picture, momentarily reaching $2,110 but ending the week at $1,974, with an average price of $2,005.

Nevertheless, there is potential for growth in these top two cryptocurrencies! One of the main factors contributing to this is ETFs. Bitcoin ETFs are eagerly awaiting approval, but the commission has once again postponed its decision, this time until January 1, 2024. However, the moment of approval is getting closer since evading the decision indefinitely is not feasible. Alongside approval, the crypto market anticipates a new significant influx of investments and corresponding growth.

And this day will be a celebration not only for BTC but also for ETH! This week, BlackRock filed an application for the creation of a spot Ethereum ETF. Now, the two largest cryptocurrencies are already anticipating their ETFs! However, approval may still take some time.
